COLD FORGING - OUR SPECIALITY

Very often there are no alternatives to cold forging: On one hand this process demonstrates its strength through an ideal surface condition and extremely tight tolerances and on the other hand it is extraordinary environmental friendly because of reduced material and energy consumption.

Therefore, Metaldyne has focussed on cold and warm forging respectively specialising in combining the different forging processes. As state of the art technology we use mechanical or hydraulic presses, arranged horizontally or vertically, combined with single or multi station press tools.

Modern machine controls and units and BDE-connection of all machines guarantees fast setups and failure diagnostic. Quick tool change systems increase further the efficiency of setups and all this at our well-known high quality level.
